About The Position

The General Service Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance and light repair services while supporting overall shop efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. This position serves as a foundational role within the service team and requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to follow established processes.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance services, including:
Oil and filter changes
Tire mounting, balancing, and rotations
Battery testing, replacement, and charging
Belt and hose inspections and replacements
Complete brake services, including pads, rotors, calipers, and brake fluid exchanges
Perform wheel alignments accurately and efficiently
Conduct basic suspension and steering repairs as assigned
Complete vehicle inspections and document findings accurately in the shop management system or DVI platform
Identify and communicate additional service needs to the Service Advisor or Store Manager
Test-drive vehicles before and after service when required to ensure quality and safety
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Work collaboratively with technicians, service advisors, and management to ensure smooth daily operations
