About The Position
Douglas Auto is a full-service auto repair shop serving Crystal Lake and the surrounding communities. We’re looking for an experienced General Service Technician with a positive attitude and strong work ethic to join our growing team. You’ll perform essential maintenance services and work alongside highly motivated teammates in a supportive environment. Location: 123 E. Virginia Rd, Crystal Lake, IL 60014 Douglas Auto is part of GreatWater 360 Auto Care, giving you the best of both worlds—local shop feel with big-company resources, technology, and benefits.
Requirements
- Experience: 1+ year in professional automotive service
- Ability to perform basic maintenance and tire services
- Valid driver’s license & insurable driving record
- Own your tools
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team spirit
- Comfortable using digital inspection tools
Responsibilities
- Mounting & balancing tires
- Tire repairs
- Oil changes
- Vehicle inspections
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Deliver excellent customer experience
- Use digital vehicle inspection tools
- Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
