About The Position

The General Secretary is responsible for secretarial and clerical duties required by the Clinical Support Staff Supervisor. The individual must be able to display good judgment, be courteous and helpful with all guests (consumers, staff and the general public) at all times, be able to work independently and assume self-direction when required. Primary responsibilities include telephone reception, scheduling appointments, completing the orientation process of new clients. Record maintenance, controlling guest flow, daily clerical duties, front desk coverage.

Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent
  • Six to twelve months or more of progressively responsible secretarial experience
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Possession of good clerical skills, including records maintenance and telephone communication
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish/English (writing and speaking)
