We’re seeking an accomplished, values-driven General Sales Manager to lead the sales operations at a Northern Virginia dealership. This is a senior leadership role for a results-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at coaching teams, and consistently drives profitability and customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a General Sales Manager overseeing variable operations
  • Proven success in building and leading high-performing sales teams
  • Strong background in showroom and internet traffic generation
  • Experience leading a Business Development Center (BDC)
  • Knowledge of used vehicle acquisition and merchandising strategies
  • Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop all sales departments through hands-on training and deal involvement
  • Oversee showroom operations and maintain high standards of professionalism
  • Drive CSI performance and implement continuous improvement strategies
  • Recruit, train, and manage New & Used Sales, Internet Sales, Finance Managers, and Service Drive Sales
  • Conduct regular sales and product training meetings
  • Oversee CRM processes and ensure effective prospect follow-up
  • Ensure a premium vehicle delivery experience, including service introductions
  • Achieve dealership and OEM goals for sales volume, gross profit, and expense control
