As a General Sales Manager, you will play a key role in strategic planning and day to day operations of Great Lakes Chemical Services LLC. Assists management team with projecting sales growth, capital expenditures, and management and financial reporting. This position ensures effective management of service center operations, warehousing, transportation, and personnel to increase revenue.   • Stands out for their experience in modeling and coaching strong leadership skills to managers on the team
  • Demonstrates strong a bility to perform under pressure and manage multiple projects
  • Is recognized for their ability to analyze and think critically.
  • 10 plus years of sales leadership experience in the automotive industry

Responsibilities

  • Leads management and operations of Automobile, Marine, RV and Powersports dealerships.
  • Communicates on direction and feedback with dealers and dealership team members.
  • Models economics of business and strategically plans for growth.
  • Consults with product team on industry and market changes which impact the Chemical channel.
  • Plans for capital needs of the company and this business sector.
  • Leads review of new methods for improvement of expense control and income advancement.
  • Leads the process of department projecting and planning.
  • Helps design Chemical Sales personnel pay plans to encourage income growth of company.
  • Responsible for team hiring, setting department goals, coaching and feedback for direct reports as well as engaging in career development discussions.
