Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • License & Certifications: Valid driver s license and good driving record are required
  • Must be able to obtain State Sales license if applicable
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of dealership management is highly preferred
  • Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication and managerial skills
  • Ability to operate the department profitably within dealership guidelines
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that affect the daily operations of the organization
  • Ability to use a computer and other office equipment
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn company systems applications, including Motility Systems2K, ADP, and other software as applicable
  • Ability to bend or sit for long periods of time
  • Requires continuous visual ability for use of computer, files, and reports
  • Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Four-year degree is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Hiring and monitoring the performance of the department managers, directly overseeing the sales department, holding weekly meetings and conducting training
  • Conducting operations as the figurehead of the dealership, and coaching the location s team to have an exceptional culture and high performance
  • Overseeing standards for displaying and merchandising inventory as well as working with the inventory management to appropriately supply the store s inventory
  • Coordinating the appropriate supply of new and used RV's and ordering/acquiring vehicle inventory accordingly
  • Auditing all appraisals of trade-in RV's
  • Ensuring that appropriate dealership records are maintained
