About The Position
This position will perform the daily tasks and responsibilities of a bacon slice entry level Team Member. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following job duties: Demonstrate clear understanding of feeding bellies into the slicer. Adhere to Tyson Boxing Standards when packaging sliced bacon and additional material. Inhabit a collaborative attitude and shift to additional jobs when needed. (I.e.: Barrel Runner, pulling paper, putting bacon into box, table worker, scaler/weigher, boxer, labeler, trimmer, stacker, feeding pockets or slicer, and Covered Wagon.
Requirements
- Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules
- Must be willing to push, pull, carry, and/or lift 40+ pounds for some positions.
- Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments, reach above shoulder level.
- Must be able to perform the duties of the position
- Be willing to stand 8- 10 hours at day.
- Must wear PPE, ear protection, hair net and beard guard.
- Must be able to maneuver around freely as needed.
- Must have good hand/eye coordination.
- Must be willing to climb up and down steps/stairs to get to and from the work areas when needed.
- Incumbent must display a Caring attitude when training Team Members, ensuring that the success and safety of each team member is their upmost priority.
- Incumbent must inhabit the 5 C’s and actively reflect the Tyson values when collaborating with team members.
- Incumbent must be willing to work weekends and over time as needed.
