Pool and Spa Depot is currently interviewing candidates for the position of CDL Driver to work out of our KW Warehouse in Bowling Green, KY! The CDL Driver is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading equipment and materials to customers, stores, and warehouses in an accurate and timely manner. This role involves operating company-owned vehicles, including semi-trucks and dump trucks. Our CDL Drivers are home every night. Our pay for this role ranges from $25 to $28 hourly based on experience and performance. Pool and Spa Depot is a Drug-Free Workplace.

Requirements

2–3 years of related CDL driving experience or equivalent.
Valid Class A CDL required.
Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
Clean driving record.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to safely lift, secure, and move heavy equipment as required.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating semi-trucks strongly preferred.
Experience hauling heavy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Load and unload merchandise and machinery onto trucks or trailers.
Safely operate company vehicles, including semi-trucks and dump trucks, while hauling heavy equipment.
Deliver and transfer products between company stores, warehouses, and customer locations.
Secure loads properly to ensure safe transport of equipment and materials.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including interior cleaning, checking lights, tires, and fluid levels, and reporting mechanical issues as needed.
Comply with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and posted speed limits.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Interact with customers, store teams, and warehouse staff in a professional and courteous manner.
Complete, maintain, and return all required delivery and transportation documentation.
Maintain a neat and professional personal appearance.
Unload vehicles upon completion of deliveries.
Follow company policies, including maintaining a smoke-free company vehicle.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
