About The Position

The Production Associate is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to poultry processing, which may involve working with live or raw chicken. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, handling and processing chicken products, deboning, cutting, packing, weighing, moving, and inspecting. Associates are expected to carry out all tasks in compliance with company standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. Additional duties may be assigned by supervision as needed.

Requirements

Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
Demonstrated strong work history and commitment to job responsibilities
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to communicate effectively in English with groups of employees or customers
