About The Position

Pro-Active Engineering, a leader in Printed Circuit Board assembly is building a 2nd shift! Our General Production Operator performs tasks involved in general assembly of printed circuit boards. This involves hand insertion of electronic components, trimming wires, clipping leads, programming and testing boards, box build assembly and printed circuit board cleaning. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Essential Functions 1. Follow internal assembly process documentation ensuring product meets internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. 2. Separate printed circuit boards from production panels. 3. Manually insert through-hole components in accordance with IPC Class 2 Standards. 4. Prepare wires and leads through cutting, clipping, and tinning processes. 5. Prep raw components for secondary operations. 6. Hand washing of finished printed circuit board assemblies. 7. Properly label or mark circuit boards. 8. Keep an accurate count of product at your workstation while inspecting every piece for defects. 9. Glue, epoxy, mask and conformal coat circuit boards. 10. Program and functionally test circuit boards. Package and box assemblies as required for shipping. 11. Keep supplies stocked and preparing work area for the next shift. 12. Follow all safety rules, including wearing protective gear when required. 13. Ensure work area is kept clean and free of debris. 14. Ability to clean machines and production areas.
