Requirements

Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
Must have a valid Driver’s License
High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of two years relevant work experience
Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance notice
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment PPE
Advanced computer skills (Excel, Microsoft office)

Nice To Haves

Experience operating and troubleshooting industrial equipment (ex., packaging machinery, etc.)
Minimum 2 years of experience in production related work
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and in a positive manner
Actively demonstrate Safety Leadership
Front end loader experience
Forklift Certified
Do you have experience using a computer, SAP system?

Responsibilities

Perform assigned lead activities.
Operate equipment and technology tools throughout the production facility, backfilling prior areas as needed, utilizing a broad understanding of varied and multi-dimensional processes to perform required duties.
Support others in learning operating procedures, provide input to peers and recommend changes to ensure clarity and effectiveness of guidance, including procedure documentation.
Perform maintenance and lead troubleshooting efforts throughout the facility, making adjustments or instructing others necessary.
Ensure recording of production and inventory activities by the team is entered into computerized systems.
Operate mobile powered equipment (i.e forklift, skid loader, sit down floor sweeper, front end loader).
Understand and ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures, maintain a safe and clean work environment and control work pace and progress on assigned equipment and processes, requiring awareness of links with other process areas.
