The General Plant Maintenance Supervisor will manage and direct mechanical and operations services for General Plant needs to maintain site operation. Selected candidate will be responsible for managing Contractor Services and managing annual budgets associated to the appropriate service. In addition, selected candidate will manage overall site strategy to maintain compliance to Mosaic standards with regard to housekeeping and operational service. Coordination with other areas will be expected for managing designated work to ensure operational stability. In addition, you would be responsible for being the site lead for ensuring compliance with RCRA. Selected candidate will thrive in the role if you have a safety-first mindset. Where will you work: (On-site at St James, LA) 4 - 10's schedule What you’ll do? Oversee cost management and coordinate other plant activities. Plant services within this position responsibility would include, but not limited to: roadway/ditch maintenance, fuel management, HVAC services, vegetation services, site laydown yard housekeeping, janitorial services, site waste management, etc. Site lead of RCRA compliance. Documentation reviewer of inspection. Oversee annual requirements for the site. Coordinate with Environmental representatives with regard to RCRA compliance/audits. Assist with managing General Plant area during Turnaround and Outages. Manage contractors performing supplemental and specialty maintenance and electrical work. Bid work as required by Purchasing, requisition services, manage contracts, manage expense funds, and coordinate field activities supporting work execution. Track overall budget for projects. Communicating with leadership as appropriate. Analyze feedback from contractors and other sources to identify and implement productivity improvement opportunities. Review and authorize work permits and conduct audits and inspections.
