About The Position

In this role, you create a positive, professional first impression for customers, vendors, job applicants, and visitors, whether they walk through the door or call on the phone. Your days will blend people-focused interactions with steady, reliable office support, from keeping supplies organized to helping. The General Office Clerk is responsible for greeting customers, vendors, job applicants and all visitors to the facility, in person or on the telephone. Operate a computer in order to process office paperwork as needed. Work is performed under the direction of the Human Resource Manager.

Requirements

  • Requires basic math skills.
  • Requires computer skills.
  • Process driven individual.

  • Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all plant and food safety, Food Safety Plan, GMP and sanitation regulations.
  • Greet customers, vendors, job applicants and visitors.
  • Process accounts payables for Quincy facility.
  • Answer and direct telephone calls.
  • Maintain and order office supplies as needed.
  • Maintain and order vending supplies as needed.
  • Maintain and order production supplies and uniforms as needed.
  • Process Fed-Ex and mail as needed.
  • Provide clerical support.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Greet customers, vendors and all visitors in a professional manner.
  • Process accounts payables using computer system.
  • Process information from supervisors/managers to complete efficiency and yield charts.
  • Conduct inventory checks to assure the office, cafeteria and production has supplies and uniforms when needed.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail to assure timely delivery.
  • Process Fed/Ex, UPS, etc. as requested.
  • Keep job area clean and free from clutter.
  • Provide clerical support to all departments as needed.
  • Provide assistance to the Human Resource Manager as needed.
