About The Position

We’re looking for a General Manager to own the day-to-day operations of Farrar Elementary and help it grow. This is not a traditional operations role. You will be responsible for the entire experience: from guest satisfaction, to team management, to marketing performance and growth.

If you’ve worked in Airbnb Experiences, Tripadvisor, immersive events, or live entertainment, this is directly in your lane.

Requirements

• Genuine interest in paranormal, horror, and immersive experiences
• 3+ years of experience in live events, immersive experiences, hospitality, tourism, or similar fields
• Strong operational ability - able to run live experiences smoothly and reliably
• Proven team leadership experience - hiring, training, and managing people
• Solid marketing intuition - understands what drives bookings, engagement, and growth
• Highly proactive and solution-oriented; able to anticipate and solve problems quickly
• Strong judgment balancing data with instinct

Nice To Haves

• Experience with platforms or companies like Tripadvisor or Airbnb Experiences is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver a high-intensity, unforgettable guest experience every night while maintaining authenticity
• Continuously improve experience flow, pacing, and guest engagement
• Manage all operations including scheduling, staffing, nightly execution, and on-site logistics
• Oversee investigators and staff; ensure strong coordination, communication, and performance
• Handle guest communication, issues, and safety protocols
• Optimize bookings, conversion rates, and repeat visits
• Work with our COO (Kong) to ideate and execute on marketing initiatives with Sam and Colby
• Improve core growth drivers including landing page performance, offer structure, reviews, and social proof
• Continuously iterate on the experience to make it more intense, shareable, and unforgettable
