Homestead Resort is seeking an accomplished General Manager to lead all aspects of operations and set the standard for excellence across the property. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who brings energy, strategic vision, and a strong operational mindset. As General Manager, you will drive performance, cultivate a people-first culture, and partner closely with ownership and Davidson to deliver on both guest satisfaction and financial success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience as a General Manager in a full-service hotel or resort
  • Strong financial acumen with proven success managing budgets, revenue, and expenses
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and retain top talent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with team members, corporate partners, and ownership
  • Strategic mindset with a track record of driving results
  • Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Passion for delivering elevated guest experiences

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for all hotel operations, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive profitability and market share
  • Champion a culture rooted in service excellence, accountability, and associate engagement
  • Ensure consistent execution of brand standards and operational best practices
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with ownership, investors, and key stakeholders
  • Monitor market trends and competitive positioning to identify opportunities for growth
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimization strategies
