This General Manager role involves overseeing all store operations, including equipment operation, inventory management, product preparation, order processing (telephone and in-person), and facility cleaning. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle monetary transactions accurately, and the physical capability to perform various tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching. The role also involves navigating adverse weather conditions during outside tasks and deliveries, and working in varying in-store temperatures and cramped quarters. The General Manager will also be involved in marketing and profitability aspects of the store, and is expected to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
