About The Position

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Denver branch. This includes leading staff, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly, and identifying areas for improvement. You will work closely with other departments and customers to ensure that the company is meeting its goals and objectives. Targeted revenue is $7+M. The Denver market is thriving. Requirements

  • An education at the bachelor’s level or higher in both engineering and business management is preferred. Equivalent education and/or experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations/general management with full P&L responsibility of $5-10M + and at least 8-10+ employees, ideally in an engineering or field services environment in manufacturing, MEP, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial
  • Experience working with customers and building relationships
  • Strong leadership and management skills with experience growing a business
  • Self-starter
  • Strong safely culture leadership experience
  • A strong desire to "win"/competitive nature with a strong drive, energy, and motivation
  • An interest and ability in being a hands-on leader
  • Strong change management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow business
  • Lead and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement new strategies to increase productivity
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure success and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments and customers to ensure that all goals are aligned and met
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws
  • Provide world-class safety culture leadership
