Job Description This position is responsible for ensuring proper training and supervision of all associates at the Nonna Mia restaurant. The Restaurant Manager is to deliver prompt, courteous service to associates and guests in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous Restaurant Manager experience in a similar Food and Beverage operation required.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to lift, push, pull, bend, squat with ease.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail as well as strong customer service skills.
  • Must be Food Handler and TIPS certified.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays and evenings.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the interviewing and onboarding of all new Nonna Mia associates.
  • Personally oversee their 30 and 90 day training.
  • Provide ongoing training and development to team - Restaurant Supervisor, bartenders, servers, barbacks, server assistants and hosts.
  • Hold associates accountable and participate in Omni's progressive discipline policy when necessary.
  • Lead Daily Standups for every shift.
  • Lead Monthly OST Meetings.
  • Work with leadership team to create a culture of sharing and open communication.
  • Encourage feedback.
  • Promote Teamwork and the Power of One!
  • Work with F&B Director and Assistant F&B Directors to plan annual budget.
  • Create and monitor schedules.
  • Complete weekly payroll and forecasting both weekly and monthly.
  • Monitor and organize inventory, food cost, beverage cost, ordering of supplies, productivity and labor.
  • Handle guest complaints and personally follow up to ensure guest satisfaction has been met.
  • Must be visible on the floor working alongside team during peak meal service periods.
  • Must promote a safe work environment and educate associates on the importance of following safety guidelines.
