About The Position

Position Summary The General Manager is responsible for leading the Fatigue Technology operation to achieve world-class performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth while ensuring alignment to PCC's business objectives. This role owns full site P&L and provides strategic, operational, and cultural leadership to drive sustained improvements in profitability, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and operational efficiency. The General Manager will lead a high‑performance organization within a fast‑paced, highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. Essential Functions Operational & Business Leadership Champion a culture of safety, compliance, and environmental stewardship across all operations. Drive performance and continuous improvement across all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Productivity, Sales, Compliance, Product Development, NPI, Communication, and Employee Development. Own the facility’s P&L, budgets, forecasts, and strategic plan development and execution. Develop short‑ and long‑term business strategies that ensure sustained growth of revenue, profit, and cash flow. Lead daily execution and high‑impact projects that meet or exceed SQDCP targets; when gaps occur, develop and execute credible recovery plans. Ensure the facility meets or exceeds annual sales revenue and profitability goals. Drive product line growth across volume, market share, and new customer expansion. Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with Division and Corporate leadership. People Leadership & Culture Build, develop, and lead a high‑performing manufacturing leadership team capable of executing plant strategies and strengthening employee relations. Provide clear, decisive leadership on critical issues, working collaboratively with managers, engineers, and hourly teams. Ensure excellent communication and engagement throughout the organization, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Develop talent across all functions through effective coaching, performance management, and succession planning. Cross-Functional & External Engagement Partner closely with EHS, Engineering, Quality, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR to ensure aligned objectives and effective processes. Communicate frequently and professionally with customers, suppliers, and PCC corporate executives. Represent the facility in customer audits, technical discussions, and strategic reviews.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to apply Lean Manufacturing, Theory of Constraints (TOC), Six Sigma, SPC, and structured problem‑solving methods.
  • Proven capability to develop action plans, execute relentlessly, and deliver results.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, short‑cycle manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes, implement sustainable countermeasures, and drive process improvements.
  • Highly organized, self‑driven, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, document, and execute key initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing and aerospace customer environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading people and obtaining results through large, cross‑functional organizations.
  • Strong track record engaging directly with customers (e.g., OEM audits, quality reviews, technical discussions).
