About The Position

JETSET Pilates General Managers are fully committed and dedicated to the growth and development of their team and are passionate about sharing the brand and workout with others. This is not a passive leadership role—it requires someone who is hands-on, present, and deeply invested in the success of the studio and its people. The General Manager is a strong leader who is dedicated to cultivating relationships within the studio while role modeling all of the qualities and attributes expected of the JETSET team. This person must be a team player with exceptional common sense and a strong understanding of KPIs and metrics. They take charge when needed but also know how to lead collaboratively, blending seamlessly with a well-established team and adhering to proven protocols. A can-do attitude and the ability to get along with diverse staff members are non-negotiable. The GM fosters a positive, inclusive culture where every team member feels valued and empowered to contribute to studio success. Key Expectations: The General Manager is expected to be in the studio during class times for a minimum of 25 classes each week, providing leadership, support, and oversight. This is a multi-faceted role responsible for all aspects of studio performance, growth, and people management. The GM is accountable for ensuring that all areas of the business are fulfilled and is driven by achieving goals and continuing growth. This role requires someone who is data-driven, proactive, and solutions-oriented—constantly analyzing performance, identifying opportunities, and executing strategies that move the needle.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with studio ownership to manage day-to-day operations and implement company-wide strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure the delivery of positive customer service and a fitness experience consistent with JETSET Pilates service standards.
  • Take ownership of studio performance, holding yourself and the team accountable to excellence.
  • Run reports and analyze metrics on key performance indicators, including sales, utilization, retention, expenses, and payroll.
  • Drive studio performance on metrics like number of classes, utilization, first visits, memberships, and revenue growth.
  • Use data to inform decision-making and proactively address areas of opportunity or concern.
  • Develop and execute local marketing initiatives to drive client acquisition and exceed studio-specific goals.
  • Foster relationships with the local health, fitness, and wellness communities as well as key influencers and potential corporate partners.
  • Represent JETSET Pilates in the Alpharetta community with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Ensure all client inquiries, issues, and concerns receive a positive and timely response.
  • Create a welcoming, inclusive, and high-energy environment where clients feel valued and motivated.
  • Maintain the premium, boutique experience that JETSET clients expect.
  • Oversee hiring of instructors and studio leads, ensuring the right cultural and professional fit.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and career growth opportunities for team members.
  • Plan and host team meetings and social events to foster camaraderie and alignment.
  • Create, monitor, and maintain class and staff schedules to optimize coverage and instructor success.
  • Maintain inventory for supplies, retail, and beverages as needed.
  • Ensure the studio is clean, organized, and reflects the JETSET brand at all times.
  • Manage studio expenses and payroll with efficiency and accountability.
