About The Position

General Manager Cheeky (Charleston, SC) Cheeky is a high energy seafood restaurant celebrating pristine coastal ingredients, pouring great cocktails and vibrant wines and bubbles, buzzing with lively indoor-outdoor energy, and defined by warm spirited hospitality. Cheeky is looking for a hospitality-driven and passionate General Manager. Elevate your craft in a place where craftmanship, hospitality, and innovation come together. Requirements

  • Management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant (GM or AGM role)
  • A passion for hospitality and an in-depth knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and refined cocktails
  • A hands-on, ownership-driven mentality with a strong work ethic
  • An authentic, honest, and enthusiastic personality
  • The ability to deliver once-in-a-lifetime guest experiences, support staff, and problem solve in real time
  • Desire to grow and be developed as an individual, as well as the desire to develop others of all ages and skill levels
  • Well-versed in financials, inventory oversight, and team scheduling

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations and staff with confidence, integrity, and a strong presence on the floor
  • Inspire, train, and mentor a high-performing team through clear communication and hands-on leadership
  • Uphold and model our culture of genuine hospitality and excellence
  • Demonstrate financial acumen, including budgetary oversight, cost control, and labor management
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and operational protocols
  • Manage property needs and guest experience with equal care
  • Maintain strong communication between front- and back-of-house to ensure seamless service.
  • Uphold cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards across all shifts.
  • Keep accurate records of service, staffing, maintenance needs, and daily performance in manager logs.
