About The Position

Premium Velocity Auto (PVA) Jiffy Lube is currently hiring! We have an open position for General Manager. Come and join our team! Job Summary The General Manager oversees daily operations for a single retail/automotive service location, ensuring efficiency, staff development, customer satisfaction, and overall profitability while adhering to company standards. Job Description Open and close the store while maintaining a clean, organized environment. Hire, train, schedule, and manage staff performance, including disciplinary actions. Drive store financial performance, including sales growth, profitability, and customer retention. Oversee cash handling, register reconciliation, and bank deposits. Complete required paperwork for sales, cash receipts, and employee records. Monitor inventory, prevent shrinkage, and manage supply orders. Deliver customer service and resolve customer concerns. Assist with automotive maintenance services and operate various vehicle types. Enforce safety standards and ensure OSHA and environmental compliance. Report workers’ compensation claims. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the District Manager.

Requirements

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Minimum 1 year of retail service management experience with familiarity in KPIs, budgeting, and basic calculations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal).
  • Ability to use computers, online tools, and complete required documentation.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs., bend, reach, crawl, climb stairs, and work in enclosed or semi‑outdoor environments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
