About The Position

General Manager Location: Dallas, TX (Relocation support available, onsite role) We're looking for an experienced leader in civil and electrical construction to take on the role of General Manager. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity to oversee operations, guide a team of 7-8, and drive growth across projects in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), illumination, and signage.

Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership experience in civil or electrical construction environments.
• Solid technical background in transportation and distribution (T&D) or municipal projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• A proactive, adaptable leader who excels in fast-paced, evolving settings.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in ITS, roadway lighting, or signage projects is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 7-8 direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, resilience, and continuous improvement.
• Manage day-to-day operations and ensure the safe, high-quality execution of ITS, illumination, and signage projects.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategy, set budgets, and establish operational goals.
• Spearhead growth initiatives to position the business for long-term success.
• Uphold and promote best practices in safety, compliance, and technical excellence.
