About The Position

Elements Massage is committed to providing the best therapeutic massage experience in the industry. Our studios focus on delivering personalized, results-oriented massage therapy in a professional, relaxing environment. We believe in the power of regular massage therapy through our Wellness Membership Program and are dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for both our clients and team members. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Studio Manager to lead the administrative operations of our studio. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving business growth through strategic talent development, and fostering a positive team environment. The Studio Manager will directly oversee all studio operations, build and develop a high-performing team, and ensure every client receives an outstanding Elements Experience. As a Studio Manager, you'll be instrumental in growing our facility by identifying talent, coaching team members to reach their full potential, and creating a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. This position reports directly to the Director of Studio Operations and plays a vital role in achieving studio goals while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership and management experience with a strong track record of hiring and developing successful teams
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and train team members to achieve performance goals
  • Experience building team capability and capacity to support business growth
  • Strong business acumen with experience meeting financial and operational goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with the ability to provide constructive feedback
  • Proficiency with business management software (MBO experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and privacy practices
  • Expected to average 40 hours per week including weekends as needed
  • Must be flexible with schedule and available when needed
  • Availability via telephone, text, or email during hours of operation
  • Willingness to help with anything that will benefit the studio

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in massage therapy or wellness industry
  • Background in recruiting and onboarding in service-based industries
  • Track record of developing high-performing teams
  • Experience with membership-based business models
  • Certification or training in leadership development or coaching

Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition & Team Building: Lead the recruitment and hiring process to build a talented team of therapists and wellness membership advisors
  • Training & Development: Provide comprehensive Service Path Training to all new therapists and WMAs during orientation
  • Coaching & Mentoring: Coach and mentor the WMA Supervisor, Lead Therapists, and all team members on a regular basis
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain exceptional facility housekeeping standards and ensure the studio is fully stocked with all necessary products
  • Team Leadership & Culture: Role-model the established "Service Path" procedures and processes
  • Business Growth & Performance: Meet established monthly Business Plan objectives including: Number of Drafted Members Number of Massages performed Gift Card sales Expense management Income targets Minimizing Wellness Member Cancellations and Suspensions
  • Client Experience: Ensure the highest professional standards of care for every client
