The General Manager (GM) is accountable for the success of the cafe. GMs manage the P&L by mastering COGs, building effective schedules and investing in their cafe’s community. They recruit and motivate high-performing teams by leading with empathy and regularly pulling feedback, while ensuring continued learning and development. The GM leads the cafe team, kitchen team, shift lead and ACL. They actively grow their bench of future leaders by instilling accountability and demonstrating resourcefulness.
