About The Position

Advanced Work Vans, a leader in cargo upfit solutions, is currently seeking a General Manager to partner with our Bonita Springs, Florida, location in the metro Ft. Myers area. We seek a developmental leader who can inspire our team members, drive business results, and foster the location's growth. The General Manager Role is not just about giving instructions to team members but about providing direction, support, coaching, and mentoring to help our teams succeed and offering a platform for your own professional growth and development. The General Manager will be crucial in ensuring our strategic goals are met through established operational policies, creating and maintaining budgets, managing employees, and more. This role is not just about overseeing operations but about driving the success of our retail location in Bonita Springs.

  • Previous Leadership experience with a strong ability to develop people
  • Previous experience in Microsoft Office, Email, and Calendar skills is preferred
  • Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a “Driver” as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Acceptable driving record (Adrian Steel authorized)

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the local operation
  • Ensure customers, dealers, and strategic partners are supported in a manner that delivers an exceptional customer experience
  • Create a strategy, annual budget, and business plan
  • Establish goals and objectives for sales, inventory, and production to support the plan
  • Responsible for the operation's performance to key business metrics
  • Responsible for all local HR, staffing and safety activities
  • Ensure Safety for all employees, customers, visitors, etc
  • Establish budgets that are continuously monitored for performance to budget
  • Responsible for leading and participating in continuous improvement efforts
  • Lead by example to develop and foster a one-team approach environment
  • Develop and strengthen employees and break down any roadblocks that are identified
  • Responsible for approving all payroll-related items for the employees (PTO, UTM, etc.)
  • Support collaboration with Inside Sales and Fleet Account Executives to foster a one-team approach environment to enhance the overall customer experience
