We are now accepting applications for a General Manager at the Annex location in Valle Crucis, NC location. Leads, coaches, trains, and manages by example. Understands, articulates and models how to work effectively in a team environment. Exudes and promotes a positive attitude and positive energy every day with both the staff, the guest and the employees. Builds and maintains favorable working relationships at all levels. Is dedicated to learning from others, sharing information and asking questions. Demonstrates professionalism in work, dress, language and behavior. They responsibly embrace and adapt to change in work environments and processes.

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Some essential duties include but are not limited to the following:
  • Manages, coaches and is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and development of the store staff.
  • Is responsible for the professional development of their employees. Leads, coaches, mentors and provides opportunities for growth.
  • Trains, demonstrates, and coaches for exceptional guest and employee experiences.
  • Ensures exceptional guest experiences by providing adequate floor coverage.
  • Maintains a positive relationship with General Managers, Buyers and the Leadership Team.
  • Monitors staff performance and promptly addresses any problems, negative attitudes or non-productive behavior. Solicits the advice of the Director of Stores and the Human Resource department in dealing with issues within the store.
  • Looks for ways to improve the efficiency and profitability of specific areas and for the company as a whole.
  • Is active in business and/or community-related organizations to create goodwill in the community of which the Mast Store is a member.
