About The Position

UPPERKUTS BOXING CLUB is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee the overall operations and strategic direction of the club. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the club's functions, including sales, membership services, fitness programs, staff management, and facility maintenance. You will work closely with department heads to ensure excellent member experiences, operational efficiency, and the continuous growth of the club. The General Manager will play a pivotal role in setting the club's vision, implementing policies, managing budgets, and fostering a positive and motivating work environment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven track record in fitness or sports club management, possessing excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Requirements

  • Proven experience in general management, preferably within the fitness, sports, or recreation industry.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the club, ensuring seamless coordination across departments including sales, membership services, fitness instruction, and facility management.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive membership growth, enhance member retention, and improve overall club performance.
  • Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Establish and enforce policies and procedures to maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports for senior leadership to inform decision-making.
  • Act as the primary representative of the club in the community, establishing partnerships and promoting the UPPERKUTS brand.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in club operations and member experience.
