The responsibilities of the Site Manager include overseeing the daily operations at the car wash. Daily duties may include managing staff, responding to customer complaints, and maintaining inventory. The Site Manager may also conduct safety trainings, hold staff meetings, and ensure the necessary service of any equipment at the facility. Administrative responsibilities may include invoicing, keeping track of discount codes, and scheduling staff.

High school diploma or equivalent
Car wash locations can create wet hazardous conditions and safety precautions should be met for safety and compliance

Responsibilities

Manage staff and delegate responsibility as needed
Maintain excellent customer service standards
Minimize company losses and damage claims while controlling costs
Identify and resolve customer complaints
Hire and ensure employees are trained according to policies
Maintain constant training of personnel on systems and procedures
Ensure that high level of cleanliness is always maintained in the tunnel, customer areas, vacuum lot, and backroom
Achieve profit goals for the location
Maintain efficient personnel scheduling
Maintain vendor relations and builds new client relations
Oversee daily business operations
Complete all administrative tasks in an organized, timely manner
Lead marketing initiatives at the wash to drive revenue and promote fundraising opportunities
Hold meetings to conform with Company standards
Maintain safe environment and work experience
Assess performance and skill of all employees and conduct performance reviews
Maintain accurate inventory levels including chemicals and wash operational supplies
Identify, troubleshoot, repair minor mechanical and maintenance issues
Greet customers courteously and explain available wash services to them; take and process wash payments to the satisfaction of customers and car wash
Perform cleaning of facility and ensure everything is kept in the appropriate place and organized (water hoses, nozzles, brushes, soap buckets, broom, hand tools, pressure washer, and grease gun)
Provide assistance to customers in any area concerning car wash process
Move or direct cars into the express wash tunnel with a pleasant, focused, and competent attitude
Points to directional sign; neutral, no-brake, no steering while watching the customer to ensure directions are followed.
Smiles at customer and does thumbs up after guest is in neutral with no brakes
Carry out visual inspection of vehicles to confirm their condition before sending them into the wash area
Ensure company policies and safety procedures are adhered to in carrying out given tasks daily
Ensure vacuums are unclogged, trash cans emptied, and hoses properly hung
With a sense of urgency, ensure the right thing is done at the right time with customers, home office, and fellow teammates.
