Bathhouse is seeking a proactive, business-minded, and hospitality-driven General Manager to oversee operations of one of our locations. This role is responsible for ensuring the entire facility runs smoothly, leading and developing Shift Managers and department teams, and supporting an exceptional guest experience from arrival through departure. The General Manager plays a critical role in maintaining standards, driving efficiency, and fostering a positive, professional workplace culture.

Requirements

  • ~5 years of experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager required.
  • Experience in hospitality, spa, wellness, or restaurant environments preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience with scheduling, labor management & cost management, and basic financial reporting.
  • Calm, guest-first approach in high-volume or fast-paced settings.
  • Comfortable using operational systems and POS platforms (training will be provided for our system).
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and assist with operational needs when necessary.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Experience in hospitality, spa, wellness, or restaurant environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support Shift Managers, ensuring alignment across all departments.
  • Oversee operations across amenities, front desk, therapies, food & beverage, and facilities.
  • Review daily revenue, labor, and operational reports to support business performance. Present reports to Corporate Leadership.
  • Ensure staffing levels, scheduling, and coverage meet business and budget needs.
  • Monitor guest experience, responding to escalations and resolving issues professionally.
  • Maintain brand standards for cleanliness, safety, and service across all areas.
  • Partner with department leads to streamline communication and workflow.
  • Interview and onboard new hires. Coach and provide performance management of team members.
  • Create and maintain written protocols and training procedures in accordance with our Culture of Documentation (CoD)
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations.
  • Oversee inventory controls, ordering, and vendor relationships as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative, respectful environment where team members feel supported and empowered.
