About The Position

At Piatti Mill Valley, we believe exceptional dining experiences begin with exceptional leadership. We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our Italian-inspired restaurant where culinary artistry meets warm hospitality in Mill Valley, which is also the headquarters of the Palisades Hospitality Home Office. This position requires open availability to work weekends, nights and closing the property 2-3 nights a week. As General Manager, you will orchestrate every element of our guest experience-from the moment they make their reservation to the final farewell. You will lead a passionate team dedicated to creating memorable moments through outstanding service, authentic Italian-inspired cuisine, and an inviting atmosphere that keeps our community coming back. Requirements

  • You are a proven restaurant leader with 5+ years in food & beverage and 3+ years managing high-volume, full-service operations.
  • Exceptional communication skills and diplomatic, proactive leadership style
  • High integrity and ability to build trust across all levels
  • Strong analytical mindset with P&L management expertise
  • Coaching abilities that bring out the best in your team
  • Hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example
  • Proficiency with modern restaurant technology (TOAST, CTUIT, OpenTable, COGSWell)
  • 5+ years food & beverage experience with 5 years in leadership roles
  • 3+ years managing full-service restaurant with $5M+ annual sales
  • Current Food Handling, Food Safety, and TIPS Certifications

  • High-end, high-paced dining environment experience strongly preferred
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
