As a General Manager, you are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including all cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and Customer relations. You must set the example by following all company policies and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from your crew. This role also encompasses staffing, paperwork, food management, adherence to schedules and standards, maintaining a perfect image, providing great customer service, ensuring attendance and punctuality, managing transportation to/from work, maintaining store cleanliness, marketing, and overall profitability. The position requires operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing associated paperwork, and daily cleaning of equipment and facility. Additionally, the role involves product delivery by car, including flyers and door hangers, requiring a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle. Navigational skills are essential for deliveries, which may involve adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. The job involves exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. It demands the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying items like pizza sauce and dough trays, pushing dollies, infrequently climbing stairs or ladders, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching.
