About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated General Manager, Fulfillment Operations, to join the leadership team in our Fort Worth Innovation Center. You will be responsible for managing staff, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring customer satisfaction, and proper departmental operation. You will have a hands-on approach and be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable the company to hit revenue goals. This role reports to the Senior Director, Fulfillment Operations. The backup for this role is the Senior Director, Fulfillment Operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years of leadership experience in warehousing or e-commerce environments, with at least 2 years of experience leading a wall-to-wall fulfillment operation.
  • Experience managing an operational P&L.
  • Established experience in the Logistics, Supply Chain, or E-Commerce industries required.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and deliver results.
  • Track record of responsible, ethical, and honest behavior in previous roles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Gmail and Excel.
  • Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, General Management or a related field, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct several operational aspects including fulfillment operations, customer service and human resources.
  • Manage performance KPIs, identify and track key metrics and plan continuous improvement efforts for your facility.
  • Partner with merchant care to design and improve our merchant experience.
  • Use data driven reports and research to identify avenues for continuous improvement and propose solutions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
  • Hire, train, coach and motivate managers and associates in your facility; you will be responsible for setting the team’s goals and managing them.
  • Ensure a culture of safety throughout the organization and enforce safety standards and procedures are followed in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Share knowledge with other locations and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs.
  • Responsible for overall site performance, including ensuring that all operations comply with product safety, quality, and legal requirements. Provides leadership and support to foster a proactive product safety culture, ensures effective implementation of programs, and supports incident response and continuous improvement efforts.
