About The Position
Sodexo Live! is seeking a Lounge General Manager at John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK). Our airport lounges are dedicated spaces for passengers to relax and rejuvenate while awaiting their next adventure. Join our team of experience-makers and food fanatics and be part of creating memorable experiences! Sodexo Live! provides hospitality services to airport lounges, stadiums, arenas, convention and conference centers, zoos, museums, and more. Requirements
- prior food and beverage leadership experience within an upscale dining operation
- a focus on high-end, strategic food and beverage programs, financials/budgets and cost controls for multiple lounge locations
- have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization
- a guest-first approach and can-do attitude
- possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high level of customer service
- exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
- demonstrate a working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs
- Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience – 5 yearsMinimum Functional Experience – 5 years
Responsibilities
- have oversight of daily food & beverage operations and deliver a high-quality product/program
- achieve company and client financial targets and goals
- develop and maintain client and customer relationships
- motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) staff
- ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs
