About The Position

We’re seeking a skilled Accounting Operations Manager to lead and mentor our accounting team, oversee financial processes, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3-5 years of managerial experience leading a team of 6-8 in a large corporate environment (finance or accounting preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
• Strong leadership skills in coaching, mentoring, and team development
• Solid experience with bank reconciliations, transaction management, and process improvement

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Oracle accounting systems and the insurance industry is a plus, along with global experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across multiple locations

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting processes, focusing on bank reconciliations and transactions
• Ensure accuracy and maintenance of financial reporting and compliance with SOX controls and external audit requirements
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operating efficiency, internal controls, and team performance
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and mentoring to a team of 6-8 accounting professionals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial strategies and support business performance
• Prepare or delegate ad hoc financial analyses and ensure accurate processing, recording, and reporting of financial data
• Drive team engagement, cultivate a positive culture, and serve as a consultant on processes with financial implications
