About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 6 - Food for Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. The General Manager will oversee and direct all food retail locations through the medical campus and hospital. The General Manager will come with a background in contract services food service management within a high-volume, large scale operation. Incentives RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABILE

Requirements

• seasoned experience as a food service manager or director in contract services, hospitals, universities, and/or other large multi-unit operations
• strong background in retail food systems
• proven ability to build and implement systems, increase sales, and improve overall customer satisfaction
• strong financial acumen and technical skills
• a results-driven mindset that enjoys working hands-on to support the team
• Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
• Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years

Responsibilities

• direct and oversee all food reatil service day-to-day food service operations
• manage, develop and engage with subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline employees
• achieve company and client financial targets and goals
• develop and maintain client and customer relationships
