GENERAL MAINT MECHANIC I | PLANT OPERATIONS
About The Position
The General Maintenance Mechanic shall be responsible for performing general maintenance duties throughout the facility and outlying properties associated with Medical West. Duties include, but not limited to: lighting, plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC repairs, and other duties assigned by the supervisor. Position will also be required to maintain certain PM records for various pieces of equipment. Position will be cross-trained in all aspects of the facilities equipment and utilities management program. On occasion, the position is required to work after hours and odd shifts due to unscheduled or scheduled maintenance.
Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree required
- minimum of three 1 year experience in hospital maintenance or equivalent training/experience required
- Individual must possess a common knowledge of tools, including powered and non-powered.
