About The Position

Cipriani & Werner is a multidisciplinary law firm recognized for understanding client needs and delivering expected results. The Atlanta Office in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a General Liability/Workers’ Compensation Associate to join its growing team.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and an active license in good standing in Georgia.
1-3 years of relevant experience in litigation (judicial clerks will be considered).
Experience in General Liability and/or Workers’ Compensation Defense work.
Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
Maintain billable hours as necessary.
Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision.
Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trial when and where necessary.
