Requirements

Minimum of 5 years handling a litigated claims desk.
Proven experience managing complex claims and litigation processes.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with public entity claims and the California Government Claims Act is a plus.

Responsibilities

Handle a caseload of 100-120 claims, with 80% being litigated cases.
Manage claims under the Government Tort Claims Act for over 110 school district members across California.
Investigate and resolve complex claims, including child sexual assault (50% of caseload), bullying, fighting, employment discrimination, and auto accidents.
Conduct coverage investigations and draft Reservation of Rights (ROR) letters.
Handle large loss claims and manage litigation processes effectively.
Collaborate with attorneys and other stakeholders to ensure timely and fair resolution of claims.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to company policies and procedures.
