About The Position

Voltage is seeking an experienced General Ledger (GL) Accounting Manager to oversee the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the companys general ledger and financial reporting processes. This role manages month-end and year-end close, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and compliance with U.S. GAAP (and IFRS where applicable).

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting or related field.
  • 610+ years of progressive accounting.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and best practices in financial management.
  • Proficiency in financial software like SAP and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • CPA (active or in-progress)
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Support Payroll & Benefits for payroll journal accuracy.
  • Maintain GL structure within ERP system (SAP experience preferred)
  • Lead and manage treasury, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.
  • Manage performance goals and KPIs for accounting team members.
