About The Position

The General Ledger and Financial Reporting Analyst is a key member of the Corporate Finance and Accounting team, responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, analysis of financial data, and participation in the monthly close process, contributing to the overall success of the team and enhancing accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an accurate and timely month-end close by preparing various journal entries and account reconciliations for leases, capitalized software, inter-company, and other accounts.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for internal and external parties.
• Assist with flux analysis for the month end that summarizes and tells the 'story' of the activity.
• Ensure proper accounting policies and principles are followed in accordance with US GAAP.
• Coordinate with other departments to obtain transaction information, research reconciling items, and resolve issues.
• Act as backup for accounting team members as needed, i.e. vacations etc.
• Participate in the development and implementation of procedures and systems related to the accounting team.
