About The Position

Bristol Bay Government Services Group, (BBGSG) LLC is a shared service organization of Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC) and is looking for a qualified General Ledger Accountant to process General Ledger functions for a multi-company, government services environment. This is a hybrid position and the ideal candidate must have the demonstrated ability to effectively interact with others and work independently.

Requirements

  • B.S. in accounting, business or finance
  • Two years corporate accounting experience in GL
  • Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint, Cognos Reports, and Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Proven ability to exercise strong interpersonal skills for effective verbal, written, and listening communications
  • Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure
  • Accomplished leadership skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong organizational and team building skills

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial statements
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts with proper backup & documentation
  • Maintain GL accounts and Orgs
  • Enter & maintain project budgets and profit percentage
  • Daily banking tasks including fraud filter, positive pay and ACH file payments
  • Reconcile the following monthly and/or quarterly: Bank statements, Fixed Assets, Indirect cost pools & bases, Unbilled analysis & reporting, Intercompany receivables & payables
  • Assist in developing indirect rates and monitor actual costs against budgeted rates
  • Assist with annual ICE (Incurred Cost Electronically) submission to DCAA
  • Compile audit data as requested
  • Complete various monthly reports for internal purposes and operations staff
  • Complete other duties as assigned
