General Laborer - Storm Water/Underground
About The Position
At Envirowaste, we are passionate about positively impacting the environment and we're looking for dedicated individuals to join our team. As a General Laborer, you'll play a crucial role in our mission, working in diverse conditions to support vital storm and sewer underground infrastructure. As a General Laborer, you'll primarily work outdoors, facing varied and sometimes challenging conditions. Your responsibilities will include: Installation and Repair: Assisting with the installation and/or repair of water, sewer, and stormwater piping. Equipment Handling: Loading and unloading tools and equipment onto and from trucks as directed. Safety and Compliance: Adhering to traffic laws, safety practices, and occupational hazard guidelines.
Requirements
- A valid US Driver’s License is required.
- Ability to carry and lift 70+ pounds repeatedly during shifts.
- Reliable personal transportation is essential.
- Be driven and proactive in your role.
- Follow oral and written instructions accurately.
- Uphold high standards of honesty and integrity in all tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the installation and/or repair of water, sewer, and stormwater piping.
- Loading and unloading tools and equipment onto and from trucks as directed.
- Adhering to traffic laws, safety practices, and occupational hazard guidelines.
- Follow a firm work schedule as directed by the crew foreman.
- Build effective working relationships with team members, supervisors, and the public.
