About The Position

Valiant is looking for a TES-Logistics General Laborer to join our team! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Assists in proper care and handling of batteries; inspect, conduct joint inventory, properly load batteries in contact trucks; deliver batteries to assigned grid positions; exchange batteries on a 1 for 1 basis; use appropriate government forms to issue and receive batteries when required. Participate in the 24-hour operation procedures in the collection of vehicle MILES at the Logistical Transfer Control Point (LTCP) otherwise known as 5 Corners. Must be capable of working both day and night shifts as scheduled Must train and become proficient in military map reading including deciphering and encoding locations using the Military Grid Reference System Must become proficient in military communications procedures including using the phonetic alphabet and understanding call signs, pro-words, and acronyms. Assist other branches on the contract with mission essential tasks outside of rotations. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be able to work irregular hour shifts; length of shifts may vary up to 12 hours as required by the JRTC.
Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US and foreign countries.
Must possess a valid Louisiana State Driver’s License (or other state equivalent).
Ability to receive fork-lift certification.
Individual must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening; will be subject to random drug screening.
High School or equivalent diploma.
Must be in good physical condition capable of prolonged standing and walking over uneven terrain.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Proficient in military map reading.
Fork-lift certified.
