IREN is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team in Sweetwater, TX. This role plays a key part in supporting the daily operations of our data center by ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment. Responsibilities include industrial cleaning, assisting with equipment handling and maintenance tasks, and working closely with facility staff to uphold operational standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial setting. Requirements

Proven experience in commercial/industrial cleaning or custodial roles is preferred.
Familiarity with various cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Physical stamina & strength to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects as required.
Pre-employment screening, including background check and substance testing may be required according to company policies.
Must provide own steel-toed work boots; all other PPE will be supplied.
Must be able to reliably commute to the work operations site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.

Responsibilities

Conduct commercial & industrial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness throughout data centers and the facilities.
Routinely assist in changing Data Center filters.
Assist with unboxing & racking miners as required
Assist trades personnel in performing maintenance activities as required
Perform custodial duties, including emptying trash bins, sanitizing restrooms, and replenishing supplies as needed.
Adhere to cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines for manual handling/lifting, handling cleaning chemicals, and operating cleaning equipment.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Facilities Manager promptly.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a coordinated approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor while interacting with colleagues and visitors.
