About The Position

Under the supervision of the Block Plant Superintendent, this position is responsible for the accuracy of bag weights, additive dispensing, and all specialty products and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
Able to read the tape measure.
On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
Ability to operate forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties.
Regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

Stacks block by hand.
Assist machine operator as needed.
Team work player.
Able to communicate any issues to your supervisor.
Checks blocks for defects or contamination.
Able to identify poor quality and bad splits.
Performs hand batching of cement color, checking for quality.
Keep the plant clean.
Operates forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties.
Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representatives.
Regular attendance is required.
