About The Position
Responsible for washing and cleaning parts before shipping to customer or outside services. Pack parts or assemblies as required for storage/delivery. Help maintain product inventory. When requested, the employee may work on special projects and various related assignments, and may be required to work in various areas of operations when necessary, performing other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Good communication skills.
- Must be able to take direction from various personnel.
- Must be a good team player.

- Previous experience in a machine shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Cleans parts prior to shipping as instructed.
- Works with solvent and other cleaning chemicals (bleach, dish soap, etc.)
- Deburr or polish parts as per routing or as instructed.
- Works with steel wool, sandpaper, knives, and various deburr/polish equipment.
- Sand blasts, paints and assembles parts.
- Assists shipping department in maintaining inventory.
- Assists shipping department in preparing parts for shipment to outside services or to the customer.
- Keeps work area clean and organized.
- When requested, may work on special projects and various related assignments.
- May be required to work in various areas of operations when necessary.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
