Requirements

• Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Willingness to work in a very cold environment
• Willingness to go up and down stairs
• Willingness to use scissors and knives to cut chicken
• Must be able to tolerate motion and work on a fast-moving processing line
• Willingness to work on a stand that is two (2) feet above floor level
• Willingness to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach
• Lifting is done in many areas (weight depends on area)
• Willingness to work in a cold, damp or hot, humid environment
• Willingness to work in areas that may have slippery walking surfaces
• Willingness to walk up and down stairs as some departments are located on the lower level
• Willingness to stand on and work on a platform that is about two feet above floor level
• Prior Employee Waiting Period: If previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 365-day waiting period before reapplying
• Number of Times Worked at Tyson: Can apply if worked at Tyson no more than three times
• Failed Drug Screen: If a failed drug screen, there is a 6 months waiting period
• Hourly Applicants ONLY - Must complete the task after submitting your application to provide additional information to be considered for employment
