About The Position

Basalite Building Products, LLC is one of the largest manufacturers of concrete masonry products in the Western United States. Product lines include structural block, interlocking paving stones, engineered wall systems, retaining walls, ornamental and garden products, and a full range of sack goods. Starting at $20.00-$21.50 per hour – Open Shift Availability Required POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Secondary Operations Supervisor, this position supports the Secondary Operations in all areas of production; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Requirements

Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with others
Must be able to work as a team
Ability to operate splitter, cuber, forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties.
Predictable and regular attendance is required.
Must be available for shift rotations, including weekends.

Responsibilities

Operates equipment in an efficient and safe manner.
Adjusts equipment for product being produced.
Feeds production lines.
Checks material for proper quality.
Cleans up work area.
All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representatives.
Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
Predictable and regular attendance is required.
Must be available for shift rotations, including weekends.
