The General Helper will work in all three departments of our bakery, including Production, Packaging, and Sanitation. This role is responsible for assisting with various tasks in each department to ensure that our bakery runs smoothly and efficiently. The General Helper will work closely with our production team, packaging team, and sanitation team to ensure that we meet our production goals, maintain our high standards of quality, and ensure a safe and clean working environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the production of baked goods by performing various tasks, such as putting pans on the line, catching pans at the end of the oven. Assist with packaging finished products, including labeling, boxing, and palletizing, ensuring that all products are properly packaged according to customer specifications. Assist with sanitation duties, including cleaning equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure a safe and clean working environment. Follow all safety rules and regulations, including wearing the appropriate PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, and bump cap. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and instructions provided by the department supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned by the department supervisor. Compensation and Benefits: This is a union position, and the pay rate will be based on the collective bargaining agreement.
